About the Role
Onboarding EFFY’s Academy Internship along a 6 months program (IEFP Internship – Level 6 - Bachelor’s Degree) you will have the opportunity of being involved in system integration projects and managed services, where beside job shadowing and practical on job training you will be directly involved in requirements gathering and assessment workshops with customers, specifications writing and technical designs and then reflect them using the company's development framework with JAVA, Scripting, RDBMS, and Big Data.
You will have the chance to specialize in one or more of the product areas and interfaces, both from a technical and functional point-of-view.
When involved on the final delivery stage, you’ll have to validate and ensure that each solution is properly scoped, designed, implemented, and tested to meet our client's business needs.
Requirements
To join our System Integration Internship Program, you must be:
• Fresh graduate with a degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;
• Eligible for a IEFP Internship – Level 6 (Bachelor’s Degree) – check eligibility clauses here https://iefponline.iefp.pt/IEFP/medida/estagios-mais-talento/overview.jsp
• Proficient in English with the ability to communicate meaning in spoken and written professional contexts.
From a Technical perspective, we’re looking for academic knowledge in these areas:
Understanding of integration frameworks, software testing methodologies, and automation tools.
Unix/Linux;
Scripting (e.g. sh, ksh, perl);
SQL and PL/SQL;
RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, etc);
Java; Python; Yaml;
XML, SOAP, REST APIs is a plus;
Hadoop, Spark, Hive development skills are a plus;
Dockers and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
